As a child, Alwyn first discovered he had magical talent when he accidentally enlarged his family cat by threefold, with no one able to shrink the cat down for at least 2 hours. He studied vigorously before enrolling in the wizarding school as a teenager. He later roamed the world learning about folklore, ancient spells, fantastical creatures and complex magic.
