Hi FloppyLoppy, if the neck isn't strong enough to hold the head upright, you can stuff the base of the neck really really firmly. You could also try crocheting a separate tube (with approximately the same diameter as the neck to fit into the neck opening, or insert metal wire in the neck to support the structure. Hi Floppy Loppy, you can stuff the neck tube very firmly and if need be, you could insert the tube in the neck and then sew the upper side of the tube to the opening of the neck with a few stitches. When using wires, you can't really attach them, but you can use a few of them or bend them a few times (like when using pipe cleaners) and add stuffing around them to keep them in place.
