The Sulphur polypore is a mushroom species that grows on tree. This mushroom is known for it's chicken taste. That's why it has been called chicken polypore and chicken-of-the-woods. This mushroom mustn't be consume raw!

I absolutely love the orange and yellow colors of this mushroom. Theodore is a log where mushrooms happens to grow on him instead of him being a mushroom. That's also why he's the first one of my mushroom fairy collection who doesn't have wings. I really hope you will enjoy crocheting him as much as I had fun creating this design!
