Boba

$ 2.99

US English pattern by Curiouspapaya. Includes step-by-step pictures.

This popular dessert drink comes all the way from Taiwan, where my roots are from. Traditional Milk Tea consists of sweetened black tea mixed with milk and chewy tapioca balls, or what we call pearls. Nowadays, the flavors and toppings you can find are endless! From taro, to fruity flavors, to even salted cheese, this sweet treat is perfect for every occasion!

These bobas are the perfect handheld size for little ones. I made them into rattles simply by adding a rattle insert that you can find at most craft stores.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: 5 inches x 3.5 inches / 12,5 cm x 8 cm
