Astrid the cactus

$ 5.20

US English pattern by Happy Coridon. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Sometimes I forget how clumsy I was the first time I crocheted. I was really struggling to learn the basics too, but I still wanted to make cute puppets.
So I decided to make a simple amigurumi pattern, for those who are learning the single crochet stitch, adding two difficulties: the back loop and the joining of more pieces sewn together.

This cactus is the gift that a distant friend asked me for and I gave him her name (he looks a bit like her too!).

Skill level: easy

This crochet pattern contains:
- a detailed description of each passage
- drawings of the embroidery and crochet stitches
- pictures that help you in the creation
- 1 file .pdf US English
- my help via e-mail if you get stuck

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, back loops only
Measurement: 12 cm / 4.5 in
