Edward The Fiddler Crab is full of bashful charm, always ready to impress anyone watching with his big colourful claw!

The instructions are written in US crochet terms, with step by step photos detailing how to make the pieces and finish the toy.

When made with DK weight yarn and 3.50mm hook the finished crab will measure about 15cm/5 1/2 in tall.

You will need:

A selection of DK/Light Worsted weight cotton yarn, the sample is worked in Paintbox Yarns DK Cotton.
(For a single colour crab you will need about 65gr/150m of DK-weight yarn.)
Pair of 11mm black safety eyes
3.5mm (E) crochet hook
Toy Stuffing
Scissors
Darning Needle


Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, crochet into a ring
Measurement: 15 cm / 6 in tall
