The Crochet Puppy Dog Pattern is actually multiple patterns in one! Begin by making the base of the dog (without fur) which alone is a beautiful dog and then, if desired, add additional yarn loops to personalize the look of your dog even more.

I'll give you my tips and tricks for stitching, looping, and trimming to get the look you want. And don’t forget the collar! There’s a pattern included for this too!

The Crochet Puppy Dog is great for gifts, decor, dog lovers, or even made in memoriam of a lost pet.

SKILLS NEEDED
Advanced Intermediate

MATERIALS NEEDED
yarn in your choice of colors (about 245 yds of worsted/aran for the regular puppy dog and about 735 yds for the fluffy puppy dog), a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook, stitch markers, tapestry needle, stuffing, pins, scissors, chopstick to help stuff, 15mm safety eyes, and a 20mm safety nose

Along with the stitches noted below the pattern also includes looping yarn to make the fur (optional).

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease
Measurement: Approximately 9.5 inches/24 cm tall
