MATERIALS NEEDED
To complete the Santa Gnome you will need: yarn in your choice of colors (about 189 yds/173 m total of worsted/aran and about 38 yds/35 m of fur yarn), a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook, stitch markers, tapestry needle, stuffing, pins, and scissors.
Along with the stitches noted below, the pattern also uses looping yarn to make the beard.
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, bobble stitch, double crochet decrease, back ridge
Measurement: Sitting, with a bent hat, approximately 10 inches/25 cm toe to hat.
