Chippy the Seagull - 13 Page PDF
Chippy is one of those birds that just swoops into your life and never really leaves. You don't see him coming and you can never get rid of him, especially if you have food. Sharing your food is all he cares for. Nosey and very competitive over your attention he is truly a bird companion, not for the faint hearted.
This PDF includes the written instructions in US terms and step-by-step photos detailing how to make the pieces to finish your creation. When made with DK weight yarn (sample made in Stylecraft Special DK) and a 2.0mm hook, the finished chicken will measure around 20cm/8" tall.
The project can be made using any weighted yarn, just adjust the hook size to match your choice.
You'll need to know how to:
• make a Magic Ring or a chain 2 equivalent
• work in a round
• single crochet
• increase/decrease
• double crochet
• half double crochet
• front/back loop only
• slip stitch
You will need the following materials:
Yarn: Stylecraft Special Dk - Acrylic - 100g/295m/323 yards
1 ball of each colour (you won't need full balls): White 1001, Camel 1420, Dandelion 1856, Graphite (1063) and Silver 1203.
2mm crochet hook
12mm black safety eyes
