US English pattern by Llama Lou Crochet. Includes step-by-step pictures.


Meet Lou the Llama. Despite the stereotype, rest assured that Lou doesn’t spit when he’s angry. In fact, he’s more of a “No Drama Llama” who believes life is better when you stay calm and treat others with kindness.

He can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.

My dragon is made using a 2.25 (B) hook and Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 Solids in 3 different colors.

Lou is an intermediate level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, spike stitch, crocheting pieces together, crocheting through both layers, and some seaming.

The pattern is 10-pages long and has plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making your own lovely llama.
