Mischievous Mushrooms

$ 7.00

US English pattern by Janine Holmes at Moji-Moji Design. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Are you ready to meet my merry band of Mischievous Mushrooms? If so then I'd like to introduce you to Anita the Amanita, Portia the Porcini, Morely the Morel, Chantel the Chanterelle and Ennio the Enoki.

These fun guys and fun gals love playing together in amongst the fallen leaves and broken bark of the forest floor, so keep a look out next time you are out for a country walk.

This pattern contains instructions for all five characters and is written out in great detail with lots of photos to help you keep on track.

The large mushrooms are made with a 2.5 mm hook, light worsted weight (DK) yarn, and measure between 4-6" (10-15 cm) tall.

The smaller versions are made with a 1.5 mm hook, 2 ply crochet cotton, and measure between
2-3" (5-8 cm) tall.

Suggested safety eye sizes - large mushrooms: 7 mm, small mushrooms: 4 mm.

This pattern is written in American crochet terminology and includes a handy stitch conversion chart so you can translate to British crochet terms instead should you wish to.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, front post, spike stitch, surface double crochet
