Dotty Dinosaurs - Tracy, Stig and Dorcas

$ 6.00

US English pattern by Janine Holmes at Moji-Moji Design. Includes step-by-step pictures.

It's a well known fact that dinosaurs have been exctint for around 65 million years but you can have a bit of Jurassic Park fun by creating Tracy the Triceratops, Stig the Stegosaurus and Dorcas the Diplodocus. No DNA experiments or complicated science involved. All you need to bring your own dino babies to life is some yarn, a crochet hook and a handful of stuffing!

Pattern comes with instructions for making two different types of prehistoric cycads as well so you can make the modern day environment more welcoming for them and ensure theyve got some tasty ancient salad to eat.

Using light worsted weight (DK/8 ply) yarn and a 3 mm hook, each dinosaur measures between 7-8” (18-20 cm) long. The cycads measure between 4-5" (10-12 cm) tall.

Suggested safety eye size - 8 mm.

This pattern is written in American crochet terminology and includes a handy stitch conversion chart so you can translate to British crochet terms instead should you wish to.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, (invisible) decrease, back loops only, front loops only, picot stitch, running stitch
Measurement: 7-8" (18-20 cm) long
