Discovery the vibrant and sparkling world of seaside amigurumi with Myles the Ray.
Myles works as a postman, delivering letters and packages to aquatic creatures living all over the ocean floor. He’s quite smart and resourceful: as lots of ocean-dwellers don’t really have a fixed address, he needs to figure out their whereabouts as he goes along. He takes great pride in his job (even if some mail is a bit soggy upon arrival), and loves seeing the happy faces of everyone who finds something nice in their mailbox.

PATTERN DETAILS

- In English only using US crochet terminology;
- Pattern included instructions on making Myles the Ray;
- PDF document of 10 pages with detailed instructions and 20 respectively images (no video);
- Note that this pattern example was created with the yarn under technique to create “V” stitches;
- Stitches used: magic ring, ch, sc, inc, dec, slst, hdc, dc, sc3tog, BLO/FLO;
- The finished Myles is 10” / 26 cm tall when made with the indicated yarn;
- Level: advanced.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

- Yarns Gazzal Jeans (58% cotton, 42% polyacrylic 170 m/50g) in off-white, dark blue, spring green;
- Scraps of yarn in different colors for embroidery, including pink, spring green and dark blue (you may want to use embroidery thread);
- B-1 / 2 mm crochet hook;
- Black safety eyes (6 mm);
- Sewing needle;
- Yarn needle;
- Pins;
- Stitch markers;
- Fiberfill for stuffing;
- Optional: pipe cleaner or wire for the tail (approx. 7” / 18 cm).
