Discovery the vibrant and sparkling world of seaside amigurumi with Marcus the Turtle.
Marcus the turtle works at the local bookstore, where business is thriving. When the stream of tourists searching for their next beach read slows down, he enjoys rearranging the books on the shelf. His snail friends love to help out too. During these moments, he always discovers something interesting to read. His favorite subject is outer space and he's frequently engrossed in books on astronomy or astrophysics. There’s something immensely thrilling about seeing others explore the frontiers of the universe, one slow step at a time.

PATTERN DETAILS

- In English only using US crochet terminology;
- Pattern included instructions on making Marcus the Turtle;
- PDF document of 10 pages with detailed instructions and 29 respectively images (no video);
- Note that this pattern example was created with the yarn under technique to create “V” stitches;
- Stitches used: magic ring, ch, sc, inc, dec, slst, hdc, dc, spike sс, BLO/FLO;
- The finished Marcus is 8.5” / 22 cm tall when made with the indicated yarn;
- Level: intermediate.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

- Yarns Gazzal Jeans (58% cotton, 42% polyacrylic 170 m/50g) in deep green, off-white, yellow, turquoise, dark blue;
- Scraps of yarn in different colors for embroidery, including petrol blue (you may want to use embroidery thread);
- B-1 / 2 mm crochet hook;
- Black safety eyes (6 mm);
- Sewing needle;
- Yarn needle;
- Pins;
- Stitch markers;
- Fiberfill for stuffing.
