Dear friend!

Mickey the Pelican was an unusual bird. He could fly, swim and speak several languages. One day, Mickey decided to go on a journey to find new friends and learn more about the world. He flew high into the sky and saw a flock of birds flying south. Mickey decided to join them and find out where they were going. The birds told Mickey that they were flying to warmer climes where there was plenty of food and sun. After arriving there, he found many friends with whom he spent all his time together. They often stayed near the sea, so they could fish and tell each other about their adventures.

PATTERN DETAILS

- In English only using US crochet terminology;
- Pattern included instructions on making Mickey the Pelican;
- PDF document of 13 pages with detailed instructions and 48 respectively images (no video);
- Note that this pattern example was created with the yarn under technique to create “V” stitches;
- Stitches used: ch, slst, sc, FLO/BLO, inc, dec, magic ring;
- The finished Mickey is 6" / 16 cm tall when made with the indicated materials;
- Level: intermediate.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

- Sport weight yarn in the following color suggestions: nude, off-white, coral, graphite, yellow, aqua blue, blue (leftover for the fish);
- B-1 / 2 mm crochet hook;
- Yarn scraps or embroidery thread in different colors (including pink);
- Black oval safety eyes (6 x 4 mm);
- Sewing needle;
- Yarn needle;
- Pins;
- Fiberfill stuffing;
- Stitch markers.
