Hartley the Fox

$ 5.20

US English pattern by Patchwork Moose (Kate E Hancock).

Hartley the fox is an ice-skater, well known for his pantomimes on ice. His ambition is to combine his love of ice-skating with his secret passion for jam making and create the ultimate iced jam tart. At the moment he’s not having a lot of luck though, as his jam pots are constantly melting holes through the ice rink.

Hartley is a good cuddle size, he measures about 8 inches sitting, in a DK yarn, but he can be made from any weight yarn and appropriate hook for different sizes. The pattern contains instructions for both a jointed fox and a fox with fixed arms and legs. This is an Intermediate skilled pattern, but it is an easy pattern to follow with plenty of photos to help with tricky bits, and if you run into any problems you will always be welcome to contact me for any extra help.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, cluster stitch, crochet into a ring
Measurement: About 8 inches / 20 cm sitting, in a DK yarn
