Hetty the Koala

$ 5.20

US English pattern by Patchwork Moose (Kate E Hancock).

Hetty works in the local library. All the children come to listen in wonder to her amazing action-packed adventure stories. Little do they know, Hetty generally just tells them about her weekends, when she packs up her broadsword and wanders off to rescue the knights in distress….

Hetty measures about 8 inches sitting in a DK yarn, but she can be made from any weight yarn and appropriate hook for different sizes. The pattern contains instructions for both a jointed koala and a koala with fixed arms and legs. It is an easy 'Intermediate' pattern to follow with plenty of photos and diagrams and you will always be welcome to contact me for any extra help at Kate@Patchworkmoose.co.uk

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, cluster stitch, crochet into a ring
Measurement: about 8 inches / 20 cm tall sitting in a DK yarn
