This Low-Sew crochet pattern includes 13 pages and more than 60 photos of the detailed description of crocheting, assembly and decoration of seagull toy for two types of yarn: chenille yarn and cotton sport-weight yarn.

This pattern is designed for crocheting a seagull with chenille or sport-weight cotton/acrylic yarn, using the plush seagull as an example. Only the sailor hat and beret for the plush and cotton seagulls are crocheted in slightly different ways. Therefore, be sure to choose the correct option for your seagull when crocheting.

Skill level: intermediate.

Materials:
Chenille version: chenille №6 super bulky yarn in white, orange, gray, dark gray, blue and red colors; 4.0 mm crochet hook; 18 mm safety eyes.
Cotton/acrylic sport weight version: sport-weight cotton/acrylic or cotton yarn; 160m/50g in white, orange, gray, dark gray, blue and red colors; 1.5 mm crochet hook; 6 mm safety eyes.

Tools:
Tapestry needle, pins, stitch markers, scissors, toy stuffing.

Size of the finished toy: the chenille seagull is 10 cm (3.9 inch) in height (sitting and without a hat), the cotton seagull is 5 cm (2.0 inch) in height (sitting and without a hat), if using the indicated yarn.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, front loops only, fastening off in the invisible way
