Say hello to Fern. Fern is off to her Christmas costume party with all her friends. She has decided to dress up as an elf this year. She has removable dungarees, hat, collar, and shoes.

The body of this pattern is worked as one piece from the toes to the shoulders, so no need for too much tedious sewing! You can mix and match outfits with the other Christmas party goers – Reggie the Reindeer, Ivy the Christmas Tree, and Christopher in a Santa Costume.

This pattern is written with US crochet notation and is an intermediate pattern, some crochet knowledge of basic stitches is required. Not recommended for complete beginners, but the pattern does include step by step instructions and pictures to help you.

Using the materials suggested this doll measures 27cm (10.75in). Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate size crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished doll. Suggested materials: DK (Light 3) 60% cotton, 40% acrylic yarn, 2.75mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, and 8mm safety eyes.
