Amy is a sweet girl who loves animals. She likes to help them if they are in any trouble. She even says that she can understand them! There are things in her bag that can always come in handy, such as a rope and a shell.

With this crochet pattern you can make your own doll. Her dress and bag are removable, so they can be put on and taken off! It comes in PDF format and is written in English, using standard American terms.

You will need knowledge of:
• single, half double and double crochet in rounds and in rows
• start a piece with a magic adjustable ring and a chain
• increasing and decreasing

Other special stitches are explained particularly.

MATERIALS:
• 3.0 mm (US size D) crochet hook
• DK, light worsted, yarn in 7 different colors, less than half a skein per color
• small amount of pink cotton yarn for embroidering the mouth
• small piece of black embroidery thread or black cotton yarn for lashes
• a pair of 15 mm (19/32”) blue safety eyes
• polyfill to stuff
• a small bag of plastic pellets to add some weight to the buttocks (optional)
• 2 buttons of about 10 mm (25/64”) Ø for the dress and bag
• tapestry needle
• scissors
• stitch marker
• sewing needle and sewing thread in the color of the hair, braid tie and mouth
• pins

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, double crochet decrease, reverse single crochet, crochet into a ring
Measurement: Finished size: 9 inches (23 cm) tall, if done with hook D (3.0 mm) and DK, light worsted, yarn.
