THIS PATTERN IS ADVANCED. IT IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS.

This pattern is written in ENGLISH and US crochet terms.

Please keep in mind that this is an ADVANCED PATTERN. It takes time and work to make the speckled pattern on the shark's back, but it makes a beautiful finished product!

Materials needed:
~ Half a skein of "I Love This Yarn" in 'dark denim' (medium, worsted weight)
~ Half a skein of "Craft Smart Never Enough" in 'white' (medium, worsted weight)
~ Small amount of "Red Heart Super Saver" in 'baby pink' (medium, worsted weight)
~ 3.5mm hook
~ 18mm safety eyes
~ Poly-fil stuffing
~ Yarn needle for sewing
~ Stitch marker

New stitches:
~ sc STN: single crochet and switch to navy yarn
~ sc STW: single crochet and switch to white yarn
~ dec STW/dec STN: decrease and switch to color of yarn indicated

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINISHED PRODUCT:
Put the stuffed animal in a pillow case and close the hole with a hair tie. Put it in your washing machine on a gentle/delicate cycle using cold water and a very small amount of detergent so it will smell good. Let it air dry until it is completely dry. You may have to reshape the stuffed animal slightly.
You can surface treat any stains.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, back loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: 17"L x 13"W x 6" H
