Monkey girl is special for many reasons. She was initially supposed to become a bear, but during the crocheting process the yarn started taking on a life of its own and I ended up with a slightly vain-looking monkey. She has long, bending legs which means she can easily be placed in different positions. The monkey also has a long tail so she can swing through the jungle with all the grace you would expect. The addition of a snap fastener to the tail means this little monkey can be made to dangle from a branch, a curtain pole or a door hook.
