When Billy moved to the big city, he started working as a record store clerk, despite knowing little about music beyond the three punk bands he listened to on repeat. With time and curiosity, he not only managed to listen to every record they had in store, but also learned to recite the track list of almost every single one. One of Billy's favorite pastimes is putting together \"top 5\" lists for every occasion: top 5 for cleaning the house, for driving at night, for a nostalgic evening ... or for convincing a customer to buy the album by his punk band formed with his coworkers (now friends), The Smelly Cats.
