Hi Susi, for the head you follow the master pattern. You then pull up a loop in the remaining front loop of round 4 to start crocheting the body. The body will therefor be attached to the head immediately, there's no need to sew it on afterwards.
As for the snout, the instructions for sewing are provided in the assembly section.
