Hello, not sure how active this page is but I figured I'd try to ask! I'm in the process of making Cedric the crab, and I've made the two eye stalks! The pattern was easy to follow. However, now when I'm starting the body and I'm confused how to work in the round and make it nice all while connecting the two eye stalks. Any advice would be appreciated!
Hi! I too was stuck for a long time and got really frustrated but after loads of searching for any kind of video similar to these instructions I finally got it! So when you're working around and you get to the 6 ch, instead of working within the v of the stitch you'll want to stitch in the back side of the chain where you'll see dashes. Also the instructions to do hdc confused me as well because I thought I had to ch 2 then go into the stitch which you don't have to do. Hope this helps!
Hi everyone, thanks for your messages and I'm sorry for the late reply! When connecting the two eyestalks, you first work the 6 ch on the second eye stalk, then you put the first eye stalk right next to it and you continue working all around that first eye stalk. You then work hdc stitches into one side of the chains you made earlier, continue working all around the second eye stalk and finally work hdc stitches into the other (remaining) side of the chains you made earlier.
