I'm a bit confused on row 24. How do you end up with 61 stitches please. Thanks.

Hi Tweets, would this be round 24 of the head and body?

Rnd 23: sc in all 42 st [42]
Rnd 24: ch 10, start in second ch from hook, inc in next st, sc in next 8 st, continue on the body, sc in next
41 st, continue on the other side of the chain, sc in next 8 st, inc in next st [61]

You start by making 10 chains, you then work back on the chains, starting in the second chain from your hook. You increase in the first chain, then sc in the next 8 chains. You continue working on the body part, by working sc in all 41 stitches. You then continue working on the other side of the chain you just made. Work sc in 8 stitches and work an increase in the last stitch.

I hope this helps!
