I've started working on Gilbert, but I've run into a problem. Namely the book says:
R8: crochet 2 sc in every 7th sc
R9: crochet 2 sc in every 8th sc
R8: crochet 2 sc in every 9th sc
R9-22: crochet 60 sc
So now I'm very confused, because round 8 and 9 are both mentioned twice, so I don't know what to do.

Hi,
I'm working on the leg trousers and found some uncertainty. First they wrote you need 22 stitches for one leg trouser. After explaining how to split the stitches, they talk about 15 stitches instead of 22. But when you start crocheting on round 1, you need 22 stitches. Maybe the 15 stitches isn't right?
PS: I love how the stripes turn out, just like the x-stitches that you used!
