No matter how many times I change the tension or retry the hair it just won't curl. It comes out very lifeless. Does anyone know how to get the hair to curl like in the image?

 Hi. I'm confused by this too as I've always done a corkscrew stitch by Chaining however many you need them increasing each stitch. This increas creates the corkscrew affect. I think that's what I'm going to do.
