Unfortunately a small mistake was spotted on page 93 of Jack the Captain's pattern. This mistake can be found in the first print run of the book and has been corrected in the second print run.

Hold the shorts with the shorts leg pointing upwards. Count 4 stitches from the first shorts leg and pull up a loop of green yarn in the 5th stitch. Leave a long starting yarn tail.

Correction:
Hold the shorts with the shorts leg pointing upwards. Count 3 stitches from the first shorts leg and pull up a loop of green yarn in the 4th stitch. Leave a long starting yarn tail.
