row 36 of Philip the lobster
Should the increases belong in the center back or should I start the round on the side. With the increases and decreases it looks funny on his back.

Bonjour, je rencontré le même problème au rand 36, je ne comprends pas ce que je fait des 13 mailles en l'air. Pouvez vous m'aider ? Svp, merci

Hi Jsaulnier! I'm sorry for the late reply, I missed your post!
I believe you're referring to Philip's Head and Body?
Rnd 35: BLO sc in next 36 st. Find the side of the body. If you're not there yet, crochet a few more sc
or undo them. Ch 13. Place the stitch marker in the next st, this marks the beginning of the next round (the lobster tail). Crochet back on the chain, inc in second ch from the hook, sc in next 11 st, sc in the stitch where the foundation chain starts, continue on the body and sc in next 48 st (BLO where needed), continue on the other side of the chain and sc in next 12 st [74]
Rnd 36: inc in next 2 st, sc in next 71 st, inc in next st [77]
At the end of Rnd 35 you end up at the tip of his tail (at the end of the ch 13). You continue crocheting in the round, around the other side of the chain. So the increases in Rnd 36 in fact create a nice turn at the tip of his tail. You work two increases at the start of your round and when you return (after having gone all the way around the body) you make one more, which sits next to the very first one you made. This way, the tip of the tail has 3 increases in total.
I hope this helps!
