I have really enjoyed making the toys from first book and am now starting the second book. I have come across a problem and wonder if someone could help me?
Head and body instructions. Rnd 42. After chain 7. ‘Place the stitch marker in the next stitch’. Which stitch does this refer to? The next stitch back down chain? Or next stitch around the body?

That would indeed be the next stitch down the chain (so the next stitch you make, in the first chain after the one on your hook).
