Hi, as you'll see in the pictures, the corners of the mouth are indeed almost on the same line as the eyes. However, the mouth's center goes down a little, so the eyes don't actually touch the mouth.
If you prefer, you can of course insert your yeti's safety eyes a little bit higher!
