Hi, hope you can help. I've just got this book and the 1st one I am going to try is the queen. Looking at the head pattern then at the queen body pattern I can't work out if I carry straight on with the body or I fasten the head off and start the body with new yarn. I'm confused with the 1st paragraph on the body (which seems to be the 1st paragraph on every body)

"Pull up a loop of cream yarn in the last remaining front loop of Rnd 4 of the head. Work the first stitch of the next round in this stitch"

Why am I going back up to round 4? I can crochet and think I'm ok but can't work out what this is asking me to do?

Thank you for reading

Hi Sheryl,

When working the head, you'll see that Rnd 5 is worked in back loop sonly. This creates a round of unused loops (front loops) that you can use to work in later on. You work in these loops to start the body. The reason you work in Rnd 4 is because you need the width of this round for the neck.

I hope this helps.
