Dear Amigurumi Friends,
I have a hard time with the body of the Witch after Rnd. 14. I did a lot of amigurumis, with english instruction (I am native german speaker) and get frustrated because I do not understand what I should do exactly. Maybe someone can explain it in german for me, or has a video/pictures how to crochet after Rnd 14 until Rnd 18.
I would be very grateful for any help.
Kind Greetings
Nymren
Hi Nymren, I believe you're referring to this part?
Rnd 14: dec 6 times [6]
Try not to stuff the bottom part of the body too hard, keeping it flat. Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail. Using a yarn needle, weave the yarn tail through the front loop of each remaining stitch and pull it tight to close. Weave in the yarn end.
Hold the body upside down and pull up a loop of bronze yarn in the first remaining front loop of Rnd 10. Work the first stitch of the next round in this stitch.
Rnd 15: FLO sc in all 28 st [28]
You stuff the body and then close it with a yarn needle, by taking the remaining yarn tail on your needle and inserting it through the front loops of each remaining stitch. You then tighten and fasten off.
Next, you hold the piece you've just crocheted upside down. You'll see there's remaining front loops in Rnd 10, as you crocheted this round in back loops only. You insert your hook underneath one of these remaining front loops and start crocheting round 15.
Pictures 1 and 2 on page 19 (the king) show you how it's done.
I hope this works for you!
