Hi Anonymous,

You fasten off your crochetwork, then take a sewing needle and sew 9 stitches of both halves together on round 12. You can then stuff the snout and sew it to the head with a leftover yarn tail and your sewing needle.

Hello,  I just a have a couple clarifying question about sewing up the snout and attaching it to the head.  The 9 stitches from each half that you sew together from round 12, should I line the two halves up so that the decreases are opposite each other and does it matter which 9 stitches?   After stuffing, do I finish closing up the snout by sewing the other nine stitches to the other half?  And when I go to attach it to the head does the area with the decreases face out, down or are hidden facing the head?  Thanks so much.

Hi, thanks for your questions! I asked the designer, the the decreases should be opposite each other, but which 9 stitches you use is not important, it's more important that both sides with the decreases align (this will become the bottom side of the snout) And you do need to close the remaining stitches after you sew on the nose (this is explained after the nose pattern part), the decreases are then face down. I hope this helps you out, enjoy crocheting!
