Hi! 😁

I made witch's hair according to the book, but it became bigger than the head :(

I think that maybe there's a mistake in the pattern of the head of my book's print. Could someone help me?

(I'm sorry for my English. It's not my native language)

Thanks!!!

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! The pattern in the book has been proofread by several proofreaders and should be correct regarding to the hair fitting on the head :). Maybe you crocheted the head and the hair with a different tension? Did you use the same brand and yarn weight for both the head and the hair? Please share a picture of the hair and head with us, we'll see if we can give pointers to help you along. :)

I've had the same problem with hair pieces on the three patterns I've made form the book so far. Even with the exact same hook, tension, and yarn.  To fix this I just moved the hook size down by half a millimeter (3.5mm to 3mm) for the hair pieces and that worked great.

Hi Maliou,

Great idea. It's very difficult to change your tension, as it comes naturally. It's much easier to change the hook size and thus have tighter stitches.
