Errata - Joker - Hat

A customer reached out to us with the following question:

Hi… in the Mini Kingdom, (I have the paperback copy) there is an error on Rnd 12 of the joker hat. (Page 72). The pattern says increase, however the total number of stitches worked into does not equal the previous rounds total number, and the total number of stitch after this round makes it seem like a decrease is more likely, but either way the numbers don’t jive. Can you help? Thank you.

Rnd 11: sc in next 8 st, hdc in next 14 st, hdc inc in next st [24]
Rnd 12: sc in next 9 st, inc in next st, sc in next 11 st, slst in
next st [23]
Fasten off on the blue, pale red and purple parts of the hat.
Do not fasten off on the pale yellow part. In the next round
we’ll join the 4 parts together.

This part is indeed confusing. Round 12 is ended without using all of the stitches. So you basically work the instructions in round 12, but you'll only need 22 stitches to do so. The last 2 stitches are not used.

We'll update this in a next print run.
