Round 4 start

Hi, I am starting round 4 of the head and I think I'm in the wrong starting spot. If I follow the pattern, I will end up with one nostril in the middle of his nose and one around the corner and upside down! I can't make sense of this "easy" pattern! My starting marker is one stitch past the rounds of the half circle end. I can't figure out how to upload a pic to show you.

As a beginner, I am finding this pattern difficult. I sure hope the author or someone with more experience than me can help!

Thanks.

Hi Phyrie,

I'm not sure what goes wrong from your description - sorry. If you're sure you followed the rounds correctly, the reason for the shift might be due to working with V-single crochet instead of X-single crochet? (you'll find an explanation at the front of the book)

If necessary, you can alter round 4 slightly, by moving the bobble stitches to what you consider the right position. The round should end at the side of the snout.

I hope this helps!
