Crochet Pattern: Lil’ Buzz Lightyear
Lil’ Buzz Lightyear is made according to one of my all time favourite Disney movies, Toy Story. Buzz is always seen as a tough guy, now we finally get to see his soft side (literally). Come and join in the fun and transform Lil’ Buzz Lightyear into this adorable amigurumi plush toy! Lil’ Buzz Lightyear is approximately 15cm tall x 13cm wide. He will make a great souvenir and great gift for all Disney and Toy Story fans! We would love to share your joy and see pictures of your Lil’ Buzz. So feel free to share your lovely work(s) at “Little Yarn Friends Facebook Page” or e-mail them to littleyarnfriends@gmail.com. You can also send me questions and feedback on my e-mail or Facebook page. I hope you enjoy this pattern! Happy Crocheting!
Before we begin, you might want to click “Here” to read the story behind this creation and how I piece this creation together. It might help you in your assembling later.
P.S: This pattern might be a little tricky especially the making of head, as well as the face. I regretted not having photos to make them into a step by step photo tutorial of how I sewed on the face. So if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me. I’ll be glad to help. :)

- Using a tapestry needle and black tapestry thread, sew on the arms to the side of the body.
- Using a tapestry needle and white tapestry thread, sew on the legs to the bottom of the body.
- Using a tapestry needle and black or white tapestry thread, sew on ¾ of the ears to the side Lil’ Buzz’s head. Stuff some fiberbill into each ear and sew up the hole.
- Using a tapestry needle and black or white tapestry thread, attach the wing to the back of the body.
- To make the buttons, use some blue, red and green tapestry thread and sew onto Lil’ Buzz body as shown in the picture above. Use a tiny piece of red felt and cut out a small circle, glue it onto Lil’ Buzz’s body using fabric glue.
- For the eyes, glue on the cut out black felt on top of the blue felt, and the blue felt is glued on top of the white felt. Then, glue the eyes onto to Lil’ Buzz’s face.
- Using a tapestry needle and black tapestry thread, embroider a nose and mouth onto the face. You can look at the picture as reference. Use a bit of fabric glue to make the curved smile stay in position.
- Using a yarn needle and black yarn, embroider the eyebrows and beard. Use a bit of fabric glue to make the curved eyebrows and beard stay in position.
And Congratulations, you’ve completed your Lil’ Buzz Lightyear!
