Habiba

As her name suggests, ('habiba' means 'the loved one' in Arabic), Mrs. Habiba is the kindest, most loving and nurturing teacher one can have. She lets the kids play with her cat Bubbles after school and she always gives a comforting hug to anyone who needs it.

Materials:
- Fingering weight yarn in:
• lilac
• nude
• jeans blue
• pink
• brick brown
• mustard yellow
• gray
• fuchsia (leftover)
• light gray (leftover)
- 7 steel / 1.5 mm crochet hook
- Scraps of black and pink yarn or embroidery
thread (for the embroidery)
- Sewing needle
- Yarn needle
- Pins
- Pliers
- 2 flat buttons (diameter 0.5” / 1.4 cm) to
strengthen the feet
- 2 small beads
- Fabric glue
- 3” / 8 cm of florist wire to make the butterfly
- Approx. 8” / 20 cm of green crafting wire to
make the glasses
- Stitch markers
- Fiberfill for stuffing
