Carmela Badger
by: Pica Pau

Carmela Badger has been making pasta since she was barely able to reach the kitchen counter. Her mother used to call her \"my little polar bear\", because Carmela was always covered in flour from head to toe. Her family and community taught her to make around 300 varieties of pasta, each distinguished by its own subtle flavor. Because yes, shape matters, and she knows all the techniques to create every pinch and twist. Watching the pasta dry in a cool breeze after a day's work is the best feeling. And if she still has time on her hands, she puts a last effort into making a strawberry dessert to wrap up the day's meal, honoring her friend Tito's famous produce.
