This is the crochet pattern only, NOT the finished product. This pattern is written using US crochet terms.
The size of the finished toy may vary according to the yarn thickness, the hook size, and your tension.
The size of my roll cakes are:
1. Bunny Roll Cake:
- With sport weight yarn: 5.5 cm wide, 8.5 cm tall
- With DK weight yarn: 8 cm wide, 12.5 cm tall
2. Bear Roll Cake:
- With sport weight yarn: 5.5 cm wide, 7.5 cm tall
- With DK weight yarn: 8 cm wide, 10.5 cm tall

Tools and Materials needed:
- 2.5 mm hook for crocheting with fingering/sport weight yarn or 3.0 mm hook for crocheting with DK weight yarn
- Cotton yarn in fingering/sport/DK weight
- 3 mm safety eyes if you use fingering/sport weight yarn or 5 mm safety eyes if you use DK weight yarn (optional)
- Thick plastic sheet or plastic canvas sheet or cardboard
- Fiberfill
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Safety pins
- Stitch markers or scraps of yarn for markers
