Oakley the Okapi

$ 6.00

US English pattern by Bluesparrow Handmade. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Meet Oakley the Okapi, a forest giraffe endemic to the North east of Congo in Central Africa. Whilst displaying striped features of a zebra, Oakley’s closest relatives are giraffes. Oakley likes his independence, and you will often find him alone outside, quietly grazing amongst the vegetation. Oakley’s large ears means he can hear very well, making him a great musical composer. Although he can't sing very well, Oakley can play songs on most instruments just by sound, with little to no practice. He aspires to be the next best composer of Congo!

To make your own Okapi, you will need:

> Tools: scissors, needle, stitch marker, pins

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: 19 cm / 7.5"
