This is Cheeken, a cute chicken like character from the game Moonlight Peaks.

A little story about Cheeken:
A lively farm animal of Moonlight Peaks, the Cheeken is known for its chatter and delicious eggs. It’s always losing count of its cheeklets or musing on the origins of the egg, providing endless barnyard amusement.

My husband worked on the game Moonlight Peaks and asked me to create crochet patterns of the creatures in Moonlight Peaks, which I enjoyed doing because they are such cute designs and the game is so much fun!

This is an easy Amigurumi crochet pattern, great for beginners.
I used sport weight (fine) cotton yarn and a B/1 (2.5 mm) crochet hook. But you can used any yarn that you like. Thicker yarn and a bigger crochet hook will make this chicken much larger!
