Meet Tori! He is a tanuki or racoon dogs native to Japan. They are also famous for being part of the yokai clan in Japanese mythology. The Tanuki are curious creatures known to play tricks and pranks on humans but they are also known to be a symbol of prosperity and good fortune, that's why it is often found in Japanese stores or at the entrance of bars and restaurants.



When made with the same materials and hook Tori stands at 17.78 cm or 7 inches tall.


Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, double crochet, front loops only, fastening off in the invisible way
