Hudson the Rain Bear loves when it rains as it means he can put on his raincoat and his favourite red gumboots! His favourite musical is Singin' in the Rain and every time he watches it, he loves to sing along and dance.

The pattern uses US terminology and includes instructions for making Hudson and his accessories.

Hudson is made using 8 ply (DK) cotton with a 3mm crochet hook.

Hudson will be approximately 11 cm tall sitting down when using the suggested yarn weight and hook size.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, fastening off in the invisible way
