SKILLS NEEDED
Intermediate (but ambitious beginners are always encouraged to try!)

MATERIALS NEEDED
274 yds/251 m of worsted/aran a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook, stitch markers, tapestry needle, stuffing, pins, scissors, chopstick to help stuff, pom pom maker or premade pom pom, sewing needle and thread, bells, and needle puller (optional).

NOTE
The pattern is formatted to have one featured image at the beginning of the pattern for reference with all other full-sized images at the end for easy, optional printing.

Along with the stitches noted below, the pattern also includes the use of standing single crochet and some simple hand embroidery and shaping.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back post, back loops only, front loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, front post, back ridge, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: Approx. 11 inches (28 cm) from bottom hoof to antler top; Approximately 5 inches (13 cm) for the crochet thread version
