The unicorn elves

$ 5.80

US English pattern by Kurumi. Includes step-by-step pictures.

Unicorn elves are part of the family of fairies and gnomes. They live in the forest, but when they find out that someone needs support and company for some reason, especially if they are a small person (girl, boy or whatever adults want to call them), they say goodbye to their peers and fly away in search of that person to accompany and care for them.
They love to explain everything they know through stories, a good way to make themselves understood. And they like to talk about feelings, desires and dreams. One thing that differentiates them
from the rest of their relatives, near or far, is their way of feeding: they do not eat fruits, mushrooms or seeds, but feed purely and exclusively on hugs.

MATERIALS:
● 100% Cotton yarn in two colors of
your choise. In the pattern I will name
them as A and B. A for the body, arms,
nose and ears (color A), and B for the
horn and wings (color B). The wings and
the horn are made with a thinner yarn
and hook than the body. You will also
need some pink yarn to embroider the
cheeks.
● Crochet hook according to the thickness
of the yarn used. For this pattern I
used a 2,75 and 2.25 mm crochet hook
(You can also make them with a 3 mm
crochet hook and a 2.5 mm crochet hook).
● Black safety eyes (I used 8 mm eyes,
but you can use the size that you like
most for this project).
● Toy stuffing.
● Yarn needle.
● Scissors, sewing pins and stitch markers.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease
Measurement: 15 cm / 5,9 in approx.
