Kala the koala

$ 6.00

US English pattern by LaCigogne. Includes step-by-step pictures.

The name Kala means Sun and light. I made the cute little baby Sun in honor of all the Australian animals that suffered during the catastrophic bushfire in Australia. I know I can't help each animal, but I tried to support at least a small part of them. All funds from the sales of Kala the koala pattern were donated in 2020 to WWF Australia WildLifeVictoria.
Use my pattern and make your own sweet Aussie koala for yourself, your child/grandchild, or as a gift.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: 15 cm / 6"
