If you want a lively friend, then look no further than Fanta. He is fascinated by the world around him and will ask so many curiously funny questions that you will look out to that same world differently. Are you ready for a walkie talkie white fluffer? I sure could do with a tiny break.

This PDF includes the written instructions in US terms and step-by-step photos detailing how to make the pieces to finish your creation. When made with DK weight yarn (sample made in Stylecraft Special DK) and a 2.0mm hook, the finished chicken will measure around 20cm/8" tall.

The project can be made using any weighted yarn, just adjust the hook size to match your choice.

You'll need to know how to:

• make a Magic Ring or a chain 2 equivalent
• work in a round
• single crochet
• increase/decrease
• front/back loop only
• slip stitch

You will need the following materials:

Yarn: Stylecraft Special Dk - Acrylic - 100g/295m/323 yards
1 ball of each colour (you won't need full balls): White 1001, Saffron 1081, Sunshine 1114, Graphite 1063 and Silver 1203.

2mm crochet hook
12mm black safety eyes
Soft stuffing/ Fibrefill
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle

Scissors
